As a User Experience Research (UXR) consultant, I am dedicated to making technology easier for all people. I prioritize usability, equity, and accessibility in web, mobile, and application design.

As a special education teacher, I worked a summer job at Xerox, where I became a subject-matter expert. From there, I “fell” into ethnography and User-Experience, at a research center known for creating the computer mouse and the GUI (Graphical User Interface) Palo Alto Research Company (PARC). I worked alongside world-renowned experts in the field and learned from them.

I walked away from those experiences wanting to learn and do more. I felt compelled to tell the user story in a way that honors the user, promotes change, and solves problems based on data.

Now, I enable the results from research and analytics to be a primary consideration in creating an equitable experience for all.

I am a user experience researcher (UXR) with experience in visual communications, graphic design, behavioral psychology, and a master’s degree in education.

My findings, conclusions, recommendations, and designs are based on evidence-based UX methodologies, including qualitative and quantitative data.

There are no broad conclusions or confirmation biases here. Findings and recommendations are based upon:

  • empirical research,

  • utilizing data derived from ethically obtained empirical evidence,

  • unbiased research findings,

  • qualified and highly established usability practices.
