Prior Registration Method
I found during interviews that brokers and employers were saying that they did not have access to and were unable to do what they had hoped to do in the system and therefore they were not using it.
A Draft That I Created
My thought was a least invasive workaround for this would be to explain to the users what they were getting when registering such as the limitations and access points within the portal for the current role structure.
Changes made based upon user feedback:
- nomenclature
- making roles and permissions more evident to user
The Final Product
We refined the design and content to better resemble the actions and roles.
While working on this project I found role provisioning to be a limitation and major pain point for other users.
I presented a report that illustrated the need for a UIAM Unified Identity and Access Management system was realized at the corporate level, I worked with the vendor and internal teams on the implementation.
